SMILE (nothing else)

Smile (1)

Hey Bloggers i am back with SMILE 🙂

Yes SMILE is the word am obsessed these days. We all know the virtues of smile rather we advice everyone to use this magical gesture to make our life merriment.

Smiling is not only an involuntary response to something pleasant or hilarious but it is much more than that. Many studies has revealed the benefits of it be it physical, physiological or emotional. If you wear a good smile then:

  1. Keeps the stress level and anxiety low.
  2.  Makes you more attractive.
  3. Strengthens the immune system.
  4. You will be more approachable.
  5. Builds up the rapport.
  6. Boats up the confidence.
  7. Leads you to SUCCESS.

Whenever the word SUCCESS comes the harwork, the organizational skills and motivations comes in my mind. Being a trainer i ask all the attendants always come up with SMILE. Yes, i mean a new definition of smile which brings you Success.

S- Self

M- Motivated

I- Initiative (to)

L- Learn (and)

E- Excel.

This is the success mantra which will always help you in every phase of life. To get success Smile to SMILE.

Business people-showing teamwork

You don’t have to be great to start, But you have to start to be great..!!!

You don’t have to be great to start, But you have to start to be great..!!! This is not a mere motivational line, it’s a reality of life. Untitled As a corporate trainer I come across with so many people who always justify of not doing a particular thing because they lack into it or call themselves incapable of doing it. For some people the industry is new, for some company is new and for the others profile or process. Really not a single session I come across with an audience where majority of people don’t give such dim reasons for their non performance.  Be it a personal or professional we always tend to find escape board for not doing a specific task. In the past even I have given so many reasons for not doing a thing. Many of us don’t even try for once and jump to the conclusion how it’s going to result. It’s not all about incapability, it’s all about trepidation of what if I couldn’t perform well.

Some people say, “I can’t dance as I am not blessed with a flexible body.”

Some say, “I can’t give a presentation as I am not a good speaker.”

Some say. “The target can’t be achieved as figures are unrealistic.” Etc. etc. etc.

Just imagine our first day of a school or a dance class or a swimming class or our first job. We have never been so apprehensive of all these things. Rather we performed well. Have we ever given a thought why now I can’t do this at a level where I have gained so much knowledge?

The very first thing which was missing that time but now dominates our mind is FEAR.

So, first step is to be FEARLESS. Nothing is worst than not even attempting. At least give a try and you will definitely gain something and that will be your wonderful experience.

Give it a START

Accept the fact no one is born an expert. one has to start at some point. No one can reach at the  finishing line without even starting a race. So let get started.

FOCUS & FOCUS

.Focus

Don’t do anything half heart. All just need is focus; keep an eagle eye on your goals. Always remember the big battles are won only by focused approach.

NO ONE is going to JUDGE YOU.

Always remember whether you succeed or fail no one is going to judge your capability. All that matters is your attempt. What people think about you that should not be matter of concern. Sooner or later you will achieve your goals and then same group of critics will be all appreciating you.

Most important is NEVER EVER GIVE UP.

 Never-give-up-your-dreams-random-33018054-480-407

It is the main mantra of success. If you really want to achieve something be stick to your goals. Never ever give up no matter how hard the situation is or how long it is going to take to reach your goal. Always remember none of the battle was won overnight. Just try and try and success will be yours. sooner or later.

A gift from Santa- Happiness Packed :)

Who says happiness is related to immaterial things only. Yes, I do agree that one cannot buy happiness but experiences and sense of satisfaction you get out of it really makes you happy.  We didn’t even realize with the passing years we have made our life so technology  gripped.33f7655

The above stated line is quite debatable as various pros and cons being associated with it. People think we have become slave of technology. But I don’t buy this thought as I feel my life has become an ease because of it. And how incomplete I feel without it. The people can relate to me especially bloggers. Imagine when your internet networks are weak or all together no network situation. What if your  storage disk gets crashed or your system gets corrupt and nothing is worse than missing your cell phone or breaking it. Few days earlier something similar happened which forced  me to ponder over a thought that technology has become part and parcel of our life.

17th December 2014 at 12:30 pm I was sitting in my office and working on some important project. Though it’s just first half of the day but I was feeling tired (due to work load or chilling winters) and I got an urge to have a cup of mocha. So I thought to stepped down to coffee shop. The moment I stepped outside my office a freezing wind blew against me. Coldness was chilling down my spine; it was a drastic change in weather. Instead of coffee shop I entered a departmental store to pick up some woolen gloves and socks (I still don’t know why I took such decision). So in less than 10 minutes I picked up the things and moved towards the billing counter. Paid the bills and got the packet, and the moment I opened the wallet to put my credit card back I dropped my phone (Galaxy S3).

Very casually I picked it up but after few minutes I realized that my phone screen got blanked. Still calm,I took off the battery and reinserted thinking it will start working but efforts went futile. Now that was a panic moment when I realized that I broke the screen of my phone 😦

I thought to give to a service center and get it repaired and meanwhile put the sim in black berry (my spare phone) which i got 4 years back. But an application freak like me who is active on wordpress, instagram, pinterest, twitter, fb and so on won’t get the charm to access all this on Black berry (no offence, I still love it) And that moment I realized that Breaking of phone is worst than a heart break. Sob, Sob & Sob that was all in my mind and heart.

10342889_10203103322116959_3798202613561980174_nAlthough some of the apps were running good on bb but still the sense of satisfaction was missing.  Therefore no peace of mind and result was no happiness. To clear it, I am not 24×7 on internet or social media addict but yes to a level it has become a part of my life for good.

For few days I managed with my bb but couldn’t check insta, pinterest or wordpress nor can do skype call to my family. Alas, felt so deprived. Now on Saturday the secret Santa made me decided not to get my phone repair rather buy a brand new machine which can make my days normal and bring back the happiness.

On Saturday evening after office santa made me rushed to the Apple store to check the options. We were standing in mid of the store when a sales representative came towards me. He greeted me and before I could say anything  he handed over me a bag and told that its a gift for me and wished me Merry Christmas. Clueless, confused yet excited I took out the box from the packet and it was a brand new Apple I Phone 6.  It was a gift from my Santa who was standing next to me with a mischievous smile on his face and just a glance of a box made me felt it was a moment of “Happiness packed.”

P.S.  A special thanks to my secret Santa. And this blog is posted through my new machine.

Happy Christmas season. 🙂

Essence of Life- Life’s greatest Bliss

This is my old post which i am posting again as it has my fav. story.

images (1)We get so much immersed in our busy schedule that we forget to realize our Life’s greatest Bliss which I realized a week back.

After hectic busy working week I decided to plan something good for the weekend. But nothing was executed well, rather situation got worst on Saturday night as had a fight with  my friends Agam & Neil. No one was at a fault. It was just simply out of frustration & irritation. I realized every one of us was losing control & becoming short tempered. That night I had an argument with Agam, we both were at high tone. I was hurt to hear him first time so rude without trying to analyze what he really means. Then happened a dramatic turn in the story. As usual Neil tried to act as an angel but I treated him literally as a Satin. Rest of the friends Shikha, Navdeep & Varun were trying to control the situation.

After a while we all became normal. Next day we all decided to go for a movie My Name Is Khan, Agam couldn’t accompany us as he was busy. It was tough to get the tickets but finally we got. I was so excited for this movie coz my all time favorite trio was there together after such a long time.
I was there at security check in waves where I noticed a simple sober lady dressed in pink suit. She was alone & I found that she was feeling bit uneasy. Her confused moves caught my attention & I started looking her ardently. I couldn’t understand what she was saying to the security guard but her confused moves were still there. By now it was clear to me that she was in a kind of problem. She was asking security guard, “plz take me to my husband who is standing near eating zone”.

I thought something went into her eyes or something else. Security guard replied “aaiye madam is side aaiye” (Madam plz come this side). But it was to the extent of my astonishment when she said to the security guard that I cannot see I am blind. Ahhh I was touched, I was standstill I went to my friends & narrated them everything & was searching her. I just wanted to see that lucky lady’s husband, that gentleman who took her for movie. I was happy to see her again but couldn’t find her husband as it was crowded i just moved here & there trying to have a look.
300sFinally my struggle for the search ended & I saw him.  But still there was a guard with them & I could see that Gentleman talking to him. May be he was thanking him. But the next scene shook my soul when guard took that man to the washroom holding his hand.

And my reaction was Oh My God!!!!! Me & my friends looked each other and there was silence & only silence. As if we were asking to each other, what that couple is doing here? After sometime the couple hold each other hands and made move to the screen.

It was a mixed feeling I was sad to see that couple was blind, same time happy to see someone is enjoying their life irrespective of anything.

But that evening I learned A Big Lessons of Life. No matter what you have & what you don’t but you have a right to enjoy every moment of your life.

Keep our spirits alive. If we can laugh together in good time so do we can in bad times.

Togetherness itself is bigger reason for the celebration. I realized My Life’s Greatest Bliss is My Life Itself.

Thanks Almighty, my family my friends. Love You All. 🙂

Thinking Hats – Creative Problem Solving

10167724

During my corporate training session i encountered with questions to provide systematic process for problem solving. So after lots of research i discover six thinking hats theory which could be applied to the different degree as per the situation to get the solution. So here it goes.

The notion of six thinking hats comes from Edward De Bono in 1985. The thinking hats technique helps to experiment the different ways of thinking and to see the situation and ideas from different angles. It is a simple and effective  system that increase productivity. There are 6 metaphorical hats and each defines a certain  type of thinking. You can put on or take off another.images (4)

Benefits of Thinking Hats

  • It provides creative solution / decision making to a given problem or situation.
  • It is applicable on an individual as well as in a group.
  • Helps to move out from habitual thinking style.
  • Helps to provide the 360 degree view of the situation.
  • It allows necessary emotion and skepticism to be brought into what would otherwise be purely rational decisions.
  • The technique also helps, for example, persistently pessimistic people to be positive and creative.
